Fun Weekend!

We had some fun time with our newest grandson this weekend. Little Lincoln is growing and changing so much. He is such a cute mix of Natalie & Scott...he's becoming so aware of his surroundings. He certainly knows his Mommy & Daddy.
He is so mild mannered and sweet. We just love him dearly!

Easter Choices

Well, we haven't posted in awhile. Partly because nothing especially interesting has happened and partly because I've been sick and haven't made my way from the bed or couch. This week I decided to drag myself among the living and headed to the grocery store. I managed to get some produce and basics when I happened upon something that brought joy to my sickly heart...Easter Candy : ) I'm not sure what it is exactly about the cute little yellow peeps, or the chocolate in the solid bunnies but something about that aisle just makes me happy. Then I saw them...the Dove Chocolate Truffle Eggs : ) JOY!!

But, sadly right underneath them was something equally joyous...Cadbury Mini Eggs : ) Now the decisions begins...I really shouldn't get both...they will surely disappear in a matter of hours.
Which do I buy? I can't decide, I buy both! I reccommend you all do the same, after all, they only come around once a year!

New Grandbaby!!

Lincoln Scott Pettitt was born at 9:22am (after a very long night) January 30 to Scott and Natalie Pettitt. He weighed in at 6'12" and is 20 inches. We were able to drive up that day and visit this beautiful little boy. He is adorable!

We've had a few fun trips this year. In October we took few days and visited Newport, Rhode Island.
What a beautiful area of the country.

We enjoyed visiting and taking tours of the old mansion homes that have been refurbished and that were once owned by the high society of the New York area.

We walked the beaches, visited quaint little shops in the downtown area and enjoyed the culinary delights of New England.

This photo was taken along the famed "River Walk". It goes for several miles and passes many gorgeous homes from the past and present.

This area of the walk felt a little like home...Monterey, CA area.

Ahhhh, so relaxing.

Thanksgiving 2007

We had so much fun being together for Thanksgiving this year. It was cold but we ran out back and snapped a few pictures.

Figuring It Out

Hey every one! So since my parents are technologically challenged :) I (Emily) thought I would take on the challenge of keeping you all updated!!! Below are some pictures from
Christmas break.
Rylan is super cute looking at the presents!
Ethan playing with his new doctors kit!
Dad... also playing with Ethan's doctor kit.
So, over the winter break I painted a mural on my wall. It took a while but I love the way it turned out. It was really fun just goin' at my wall with a loaded paint brush :)
So this was our traditional stair picture on Christmas morning. Only I was lucky enough to not be in it! (the lighting isn't that great. Sorry!)
